A land which has overcome all its drawbacks as to its insularity, a land of people who have faced years of foreign domination and resisted it keeping many features of its own, such as its language.   
This very large Mediterranean island of captivating beauties is bordered by promontories, bays, lofty and rocky coasts and beaches with little islands scattered in the pristine water of the Mediterranean Sea.
This land offers all contrasts and ways of the lay of the land, mountain ranges, man-made and natural lakes, hills and valleys, archaeological sites and the most ultra modern technology to welcome its tourist flux. This island has mainly developed in the last decades on tourism, the art of hospitality learning what exactly a tourist needs.
